What has just been done:
Oil change
Oil filter replaced
Tail oil change
4 new spark plugs
The engine is a 40/60 hp version, which means that the hood and the identification plate say 40, but it is actually a 4-cylinder 60 hp engine.
This ORIGINAL 60 hp engine (intended for the Italian market, among others) was factory-limited to 40 hp because, in Italy, a boating license is required for engines above 40 hp.
Because the limitation has been removed, it is once again the original 60 hp engine. An original 40 hp Yamaha is a 3-cylinder.
An original 60 hp Yamaha is always a 4-cylinder.
